The Management Board of Boryszew S.A. (“Company”, “Issuer”) with reference to the current report No. 16/2025 of 23 June 2025 on the adoption of the revision of Boryszew Capital Group Strategy and information in periodical reports on main strategic goals of Boryszew Group in circular economy, advises that on 19 January 2026 the Management Board of Zakład Utylizacji Odpadów Spółka z o.o. (ZUO), a subsidiary, became aware that ZUO had obtained the final decision of the Mayor of Konin on the approval of the construction project for the investment project “Construction of a new thermal waste conversion facility,” planned for implementation in Konin.
The construction of a thermal waste processing facility is one of the elements of the Boryszew Group’s Business Strategy for 2025 – 2029, which the Company announced in the aforementioned current report. Following the investment, the facility will process hazardous waste in an amount of up to 15 800 tonnes. The Company’s intention is to commission the installation under construction by the end of 2028.
The Issuer will announce further significant stages of the above investment through relevant reports.
