The Management Board of Boryszew S.A. (“Issuer”) announces hereby, following the current report No.8/2021 of 26 April 2021 regarding the decision of Head of the Fiscal Administration Chamber in Katowice (“Chamber”) of 19 April 2021 determining overdue VAT liability of ZM SILESIA S.A. (ZM SILESIA) for 2012 (“Decision”), that on 4 May 2021 ZM SILESIA received a notice from the District Court Katowice-Wschód in Katowice regarding the entry of the compulsory mortgage on the real estate of ZM SILESIA up to the amount of PLN 75.6 million as a security of claims in the execution of the Decision.
Importantly, due to a different assessment of the circumstances presented in the Decision, ZM SILESIA intends to appeal against the above mentioned decision to the Provincial Administrative Court.
The Company will announce further significant events associated with the above in the form of subsequent current reports.
