Boryszew S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (the ‘Company’, ‘Issuer’) announces that on 24 June 2024, the Supervisory Board of the Company, decided to appoint Mr Adam Holewa as the Member of the Management Board, Director of the Automotive Segment of the Issuer, effective 24 June 2024.
Below the Company provides information on Mr Adam Holewa’s education, qualifications and previously held positions, together with a description of his professional career.
Mr Adam Holewa is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice, with a degree in metallurgy and materials science.
Mr Adam HoIewa has been involved in the automotive sector for over 26 years. He commenced his career in 1998 at General Motors and from 2003 he was associated with the Volkswagen Group, where he held top management positions, including as Central Planning Director, Plant Director at SITECH Sitztechnik GmbH in Germany.
From 2015 to 2021, he held the position of Technical Managing Director, Plant Director, Proxy at SITECH Ltd. Volkswagen Group Components.
For the last few years, he worked for the CCC Group as the Vice-President of Operations and Corporate Governance, where he was responsible for overseeing investments, Group expansion, projects and subsidiaries.
Mr Adam Holewa has many years of experience in creating and implementing effective development strategies and change management. Inter alia, he is an expert in the design and implementation of new solutions in the area of improving production efficiency using good practices on the level of automation and digitisation of production processes. He has led and implemented numerous projects internationally, including the industrialisation and start-up of new production plants.
Furthermore, Mr Adam Holewa is the President of the Management Board in the companies of the Boryszew Capital Group (Boryszew Automotive Plastics sp. z o.o., Maflow Plastics Poland Spółka z o.o. and Boryszew Kunststofftechnik Deutschland GmbH).
Mr Adam Holewa is not involved in any activities competitive to the Company, does not participate in a competitive company as a partner in a civil law partnership, a partnership or as a member of the authority of a capital company, and does not participate in any other competitive legal person as a member of its authority. Mr Adam Holewa is also not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors, maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register.
