The Management Board of Boryszew S.A. (“Company”, “Issuer”) with reference to the current report No. 16/2025 of 23 June 2025 on the adoption of the revision of Boryszew Capital Group Strategy and information in periodical reports on main strategic goals of Boryszew Group in circular economy, advises that on 10 October 2025 the Management Board of Boryszew Nieruchomości Spółka z o.o., a subsidiary company, became aware that Boryszew Nieruchomości Spółka z o.o. had obtained the final decision of the Mayor of Toruń on the approval of the construction project for the investment project “Construction of a facility with an installation for thermal conversion of municipal waste with energy recovery, along with the necessary infrastructure”, planned for implementation in Toruń.
The construction of a municipal thermal waste processing facility is one of the elements of the Boryszew Group’s Business Strategy for 2025 – 2029, which the Company announced in the aforementioned current report. The planned investment outlays associated with the investment are approx. PLN 166 million. Once completed, the plant will process up to 23 000 tons of waste per year and generate electricity and heat in high-efficiency cogeneration with a total capacity of more than 7 MW. The Company’s intention is to commission the installation under construction in 2027.
The Issuer will announce further significant stages of the above investment through relevant reports.
