The Management Board of Boryszew S.A. informs that the Supervisory Board on its meeting on July 19th, 2010 took resolution appointing Mr. Robert Bednarski to a post of Vice-Chairman of the Management Board of the Company.
Mr. Robert Bednarski has graduated Warsaw School of Economics, faculty – quantitative methods and data-processing systems.
He has finished postgraduated studies in Collegium of Science on Enterprises and postgraduated studies on “ Management of value of enterprise”.
From August 2008 till June 2010 he took a post of a member of the Management Board of Ciech S.A. with the seat in Warsaw, responsible for finance and IT. He carried restructuring process and consolidation of indebtedness of Ciech Group.
In the years 2007 – 2008 as a Executing Director responsible for organization and integration in Orlen Group, he played supervising role over the realization of a complex program of value building in Mazeikiu Nafta implementing restructuring program of Orlen S.A. and changing the management model of Orlen Group.
In the years 2005 – 2007 – Financial Director and Member of the Management Board of Basell Orlen Polyolefins, the biggest producer of polyolefines in Poland. Financial coordinator of development of manufacturer capacity of the Company (project’s value – EUR 500 m).
In the years 2002 – 2005 – Director of Financial Management department in Orlen S.A.
From 1998 till 2002 – Cash Management Department Manager in Orlen S.A.
In the years 1996-1977 – he worked in the Ministry of Finance.
Member of the supervising bodies of the companies of Orlen Group and Ciech Group, among others: Unipetrol a.s., AB Mazeikiu Nafta, Zachem S.A., S.C. Uzinele Sodice Govora.
From 2006 a member of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
He has also finished courses on: projects financing, prices risks management in the oil industry, managers abilities.
Mr. Robert Bednarski does not curry competitive activity towards companies of Boryszew Group. He is neither a partner in any competitive civil partnership, partnership nor is a member of bodies in other competitive towards the Company legal persons.
Mr. Robert Bednarski has not been registered in the insolvent debtor registry.
