In connection with the current report no 47/2011 of May 24th, 2011 the Management Board of Boryszew S.A. informs that on June 29th, 2011 a letter of intention on purchase of shares in Theysohn Kunstoff GmbH and Theysohn Formenbau GmbH companies in Germany was signed. The parties agreed to take actions in order to finalize the shares purchase agreement till July 15th, 2011. Boryszew S.A. intends to take over shares of value of euro 2.1 m in both of the above mentioned enterprises, which are important suppliers of car equipment elements for the Volkswagen Group.
Theysohn Formenbau is a recognized producer of forms in injection technology for the car and packaging industries. Theysohn Kunstoff is a direct supplier of plastic elements to chassisses and cars equipment and inside elements to such models of Volkswagen Group as VW Passat, VW Golf, VW Tiguan Audi Q7 Porsche Cayenne.
Theysohn Kunstoff’ turnovers in 2011 amount to ca Euro 60 m and Theysohn Formenbau amount to Euro 12 m.
Acquisition of Theysohn companies is a further step of strategy of Boryszew S.A. to enlarge both its share in segment of cars parts production and its position among the worlds cars concerns.
