The Management Board of Boryszew S.A. informs that it got from Autorney Mr. Ryszard Pietrzyk, case proxy of Boryszew S.A. on December 14th, 2009 information about the settlement with the bankruptcy trustee of the company Kuag Elana GmbH on the following conditions: payment of EUR 2.7 m, paid in total till January 15th, 2010 to the bank account of the bankruptcy trustee.
At the same time the bankruptcy trustee of Kuag Elana GmbH has abandoned all claims against Boryszew S.A. connected with existence and disposal of Kuag Elana GmbH. The company has created a provision for the above mention liability in 2008 in the amount of EUR 7,907,269 (PLN 32,992 th.) Concluding the settlement will cause a dissolution of the great part of the provision (EUR 5,207,269 – PLN 21,811 th.) which will have a positive result on the financial result of the company.
