Boryszew Group delivers strong results in H1 2021

04/11/2021All eligible Boryszew Group companies have received positive administrative decisions from the President of the Energy Regulatory Office on their applications for granting compensation under the energy-intensive industries compensation scheme for the year 2020.
The compensation granted to Boryszew Group totalled PLN 15.8 million, which will go to the Group’s companies operating in the steel, non-ferrous metals and chemical sectors.
The amount obtained by Boryszew Group constitutes approx. 1.8% of the total budget allocated to Poland under the energy-intensive industries compensation scheme for the financial year 2020.
The aim of the compensation scheme for energy-intensive industries is to help companies active in these sectors maintain their competitive position and reduce the relocation risk outside the region due to high indirect costs of carbon emissions.
